Falafel yo!

Falafel Yo established July 2017 in Greenbelt 3, Makati. Serving authentic Israeli falafels and salad bar. The first of it’s kind in Manila.

Falafel Yo is scheduled to open 3 more branches in 2017 (Ayala Vertis Mall, SM North EDSA and an undecided location) and projected to open more than 20 outlets in the following year. The group believes that everyone should have access to quick, healthy, yummy and affordable food which is something difficult to achieve in Manila. (well, not anymore)

You can find Falafel Yo on the Cinema Level of Greenbelt 3, Makati City. Visit their social media pages for updates @FalafeYo

^I got the above information from their website. True enough, we were able to find Falafel Yo in SM EDSA Annex.

If you are in Quezon City and in SM City North Edsa, you will find Falafel Yo at Annex 2nd floor, beside Subway sandwiches!

The prices are not bad for the size and quality of the food you will be getting. Bang for buck, we say! My husband and I order Falafel Yo for 159 pesos and ask them to serve for 2 people (they can divide the falafel into 2, see below). Try them out next time you see Falafel Yo!

Pipino Vegan Restaurant

This is a long overdue post about Pipino Restaurant.

Ever since we transitioned to veganism, Pipino has been our favorite go-to place.

Pipino is located at 39 Malingap St. Diliman, Quezon City. (same street where you’ll find other vegan restaurant/options!)

Parking is not a problem as it is in the same building where Pino bar restaurant (not vegan) is located. Pipino is at the 2nd floor of the building so you will need to go through the gate at the right side of the building and go up the stairs to the 2nd floor where the entrance to Pipino is located. (left side)

When we crave for cake, no problem:

Here’s their Mushroom Salpicao:

My all time favorite, Vegan Kare Kare! Their kare kare sauce is a champion of all kare kares!

This is another bestseller, and our favorite: Buffalo Cauliflower Wings and suprisingly, their cheesy fries (potatoes, but you can ask for sweet potatoes) is also a winner:
